Joaquim Inácio Caetano
Integrated researcher at ARTIS - Institute of Art History of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. He is currently developing postdoctoral research on 16th-century mural painting under the title O papel decorativo da pintura a fresco do século XV e XVI no Norte de Portugal. Relações com os tecidos lavrados. He has been developing research on fresco painting in Portugal in the 15th and 16th centuries with the publication of books and articles, as well as teaching activity with contents of his specialty in various schools and colleges. His doctoral dissertation in Art History had as the object of study the decorative motifs of the 15th and 16th-century fresco painting in the north of Portugal and its relations with easel painting.
