"El libro hebreo iluminado en Portugal en la Edad Media (siglos XIII-XV)"


Tiago Moita, a researcher of ARTIS-IHA, had his Ph.D. thesis recently published by Editorial CSIC, Madrid, under the title: "El libro hebreo iluminado en Portugal en la Edad Media (siglos XIII-XV)". 
The thesis was oriented by Luís U. Afonso, Ph.D., a professor at ARTIS-IHA, of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon.

INDIVIDUAL CALL TO SCIENTIFIC EMPLOYMENT STIMULUS - 5TH EDITION
The Individual Call is aimed at Ph.D. holders of any nationality or stateless with a background in any scientific area who wish to develop their scientific research or technological development activity in Portugal, integrated into R&D units funded by FCT.
Applicants should indicate the host institution where they will develop their research plan. The selected doctorates are directly hired by the identified host institution, through FCT funding.
 
The call is open from 3 February 2022 until 3 March 2022, 5 p.m. (Lisbon time), through the electronic platform to be made available in due course.

The period for the association of the host institution to each individual application is from 4 March 2022 until 29 March 2022, 5 p.m (Lisbon time).

Online and face-to-face registration for the International Congress "Women in Musical Iconography: feminism and gender constructions", which will take place at the Facultad de Geografía and Historia de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid between December 13th and 15th, 2021.

 
Sónia Duarte, Ph.D. researcher at ARTIS-IHA, will participate in the Congress with the presentation "Imagine how shocking it would be to see a woman playing the tambourine, fife or trumpet, or other similar instruments': portraits of female musicians in Portuguese paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries", on the Decemebr 14th.

On November 30th, the ARTIS doctoral researcher, Sónia Duarte, will participate in the «I Jornada de Innovación Educativa. Arte y Cultura Visual», Murcia University (Spain), with the work «Museos de arte en Portugal y Educación Musical».
 
Her work covers activities carried out in Portuguese museums with students and teachers of Music, Dance and Theater.
 
Enrollment runs until November 29th.
