Ph.D. in Art History | New curriculum | Open applications

The Ph.D. in Art History has a new curriculum and applications for the semester that begins in February 2020 are open until October. Know more about the favoured areas of research and learn more about the course!

With two options - Art History and Art, Heritage and Restoration - the new course presents specific study plans for each area that include two compulsory curricular units and three optional ones, in a total of 240 ECTS.

Designed to offer specialized training in the field of Art History and Integrated Heritage Management, the new curriculum articulates with the main research areas of ARTIS - Institute of Art History, providing students with a privileged space for the development of studies and research in the areas of: 
1) Late Gothic and Renaissance Art
2) Collecting, Art Markets, and Decorative Arts;  
3) Azulejo
4) Contemporary Art and Curatorship.
 
Applications for the semester that begins in February 2020 are open until October. Find out through the ARTIS website or directly at FLUL's graduate services.
Please note that the course will be held in Portuguese.
