April's AzLab will focus on the use of azulejos in cemeteries, discuss different examples and features of this kind of practice all over the country and show how, given the quantity and quality of certain works, it really does make sense to speak of funerary tile decorations. The subject is fascinating and our guest, Francisco Queiroz, is a multifaceted researcher, who has been working mainly on funerary art from the Romantic period. Be sure to join us!
