Mosaics in the "Raio que o Parta" Style

The buildings with coloured tiles forming figurative and abstract compositions gave rise to the label "arquitetura do Raio que o parta (anything goes architecture)" and stand out today as an important cultural heritage in the State of Pará. They are currently being studied by the Brazilian researchers Cybelle Miranda and Laura Costa, who will join us from the other side of the Atlantic for the first AzLab of 2022.
